BLXAde builds on Excalidraw as the drawing and layout engine — then layers project workspaces, agents, terminals, and previews as functional nodes.

  • Excalidraw as the canvas base

    The workspace is a surface-limited Excalidraw fork — freehand, shapes, and infinite pan/zoom — extended so agents, terminals, and previews are first-class canvas nodes.

  • Global Agent

    In-app assistant via OpenRouter with project and terminal tools. API keys stay native-only — never in the webview.

  • Native terminals

    PTY sessions with masked egress, reactive agent supervision, and full history kept in RAM only.

  • Local MCP

    Loopback Streamable-HTTP while the app runs. External clients get project tools plus browser display/close.

  • Dev browser previews

    Show localhost pages or launch bounded static previews as canvas browser nodes — for agents and humans.

  • Capability-first design

    Minimized native permissions, validated IPC, owner-namespaced i18n (EN + DE), and platform parity on Windows and Linux.
